Melgar vs Carlos A. Mannucci: the ‘rojinegro’ club defeated the ‘Carlistas’ 2-0 on Saturday, April 13, on date 11 of the Liga 1 2024 Apertura Tournament. The match was played at the UNSA Monumental stadium from Arequipa.

With goals from Cristian Bordacahar and Jefferson Cáceres, the ‘dominoes’ chained their sixth game in a row without losing, reached 20 points and rose to the top of the Apertura Tournament standings. The Trujillo team, on the other hand, extended their bad streak of consecutive defeats to four and remained in penultimate place.

Melgar will face Atlético Grau in Piura next Sunday, April 21 for matchday 12 of the Apertura from 2:30 p.m. Mannucci will receive UTC at the Mansiche stadium on Saturday the 24th (3:30 p.m.)
