Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’ is now seen falling apart in the weekdays despite a bumper opening. The film, which released last Thursday, earned Rs 44 crore on the first day. But its condition has become poor in just 7 days. After the first weekend, GOAT’s earnings have been continuously declining since Monday. The situation is such that on Wednesday, on the 7th day, it has done a business of -81.80% less in the country. This situation is worrying, because while it was earlier expected that it could become a big blockbuster of the year 2024, now the chances of it being a flop are increasing. GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu, is an action-drama. Thalapathy Vijay is in a double role in the film. The problem is that the film did not get very good reviews, due to which it has failed to woo the audience other than Vijay’s fans. While the film grossed Rs 137 crore in the four-day opening weekend, it earned only Rs 33.75 crore in the three days from Monday to Wednesday during the weekdays.

According to the report of sacnilk, GOAT has collected only Rs 8.50 crore net in the country on Wednesday including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Earlier, it had earned Rs 11.00 crore on Tuesday and Rs 14.75 crore on Monday. While during the weekend, it had a business of Rs 34.00 crore on Sunday. However, now in 7 days, the total collection of the film at the Indian box office is Rs 171.25 crore.

GOAT’s pace has now slowed down in terms of worldwide collections as well. The film has grossed Rs 331.20 crore at the global box office in 7 days. It has earned Rs 130 crore so far in foreign countries. If this film proves to be a flop, then one of the reasons for its failure will be its huge budget of Rs 400 crore. It is said that Thalapathy Vijay alone has charged a fee of Rs 200 crore for the film.

The condition of ‘The Greatest of All Time’ is very bad in the Hindi version. It has earned only Rs 10.70 crore in Hindi in seven days. Similarly, the Telugu version has also earned only Rs 9.75 crore till Wednesday.
