Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’ has not lived up to expectations. He has formed his own political party and this is one of the last two films of his film career. The condition of the film in Hindi was already bad. While in the South too, in 9 days, except Tamil Nadu, this film is proving to be a loss deal for the buyers in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. GOAT is the 68th film of Vijay’s film career. He is in a double role in the film and it is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Made on a huge budget of Rs 400 crore, this film has been able to make a net collection of Rs 184.75 crore at the Indian box office in 9 days. In this too, a business of Rs 162.65 crore has been done from the Tamil version alone. Whereas it has earned only Rs 11.70 crores in Hindi and Rs 10.40 crores in Telugu.

According to the report of sacnilk, GOAT which did a business of Rs 44 crore on the opening day, has collected a net of only Rs 6.75 crore on the 9th day i.e. Friday. Out of this, it has earned Rs 6.25 crore in Tamil language. Whereas in Hindi, it has earned only Rs 40 lakh and in Telugu, it has earned even less, Rs 10 lakh.

Why did ‘The Greatest of All Time’ flop?
One of the main reasons for the failure of GOAT is its music. The music album of Thalapathy’s films has always been a superhit even before its release. But this time it did not happen. Similarly, the trailer of the film also could not generate much enthusiasm. The audience did not find anything new in it. Therefore, the audience rejected it even in the southern states. However, ‘The Greatest of All Time’ has definitely performed well at the box office in Tamil Nadu.
GOAT has doubled its earnings in Tamil Nadu
According to a report, the film’s theatre rights were sold for Rs 75 crore in Tamil Nadu. Thanks to Thalapathy Vijay’s stardom in the state, the film grossed Rs 150 crore in the first week itself. There is a possibility of an increase in GOAT’s earnings in the second weekend. In such a situation, earnings in the state will increase further and the film will be profitable. But pan India, this film is on the verge of becoming a big disaster.
