According to the Municipal Department of Education (SME), the goat belongs to a resident neighboring the school unit and is used to running loose in the region. The school management contacted the person responsible for the animal, who went to rescue it.
The goat entered the students’ departure time. This is not the first time that a school in the capital of Rio de Janeiro has been invaded by animals. In April of this year, 2023, a pit-bull dog bit two students at Escola Municipal Professor Josué do Castro, in Vila do João, Complexo da Maré.
