jpnn.comJAKARTA – Gerindra Party Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said that former West Java (Jabar) Governor Ridwan Kamil or RK will be supported by a coalition of parties called the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
“God willing, one name has emerged in Kim Plus, namely Ridwan Kamil for the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election,” said Dasco answering media crew at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (5/8).
It is known that KIM is a political axis consisting of Gerindra, Golkar, PAN, Demokrat, PSI, and PBB to support the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka candidate pair in the 2024 RI Presidential Election.
However, Dasco could not detail the names of parties outside of KIM in the 2024 RI Presidential Election that would follow in supporting RK to form KIM Plus.
The Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives only said that there was more than one party outside of KIM in the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election that would support RK in this year’s Jakarta Pilkada.
“There’s more than one plus. Yes, in a day or two, it will be known, as long as it’s synchronized,” Dasco continued.
He also said that the figure of RK’s deputy running mate was not yet known when KIM Plus planned to nominate the former Bandung Mayor in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
“We will probably convey the information to the media in a day or two,” said Dasco.
