jpnn.comJAKARTA – Karawang DPRD member Didin Sirojudin visited the community in Sungai Buntu Village, Pedes District, Karawang Regency to provide assistance to malnourished toddlers and pregnant women with chronic energy deficiencies.

This assistance was made possible thanks to the collaboration between Sungai Buntu Health Center, Lumba-Lumba Posyandu cadres and the alliance for Kang Didin (Aladin) who cares about public health.

Didin handed over 100 aid packages to improve public health, especially for underprivileged families.

He said that this activity was not the first to be carried out but had targeted more than 23 villages in Karawang, especially in the electoral district (electoral district III) including Batujaya, Tirtajaya, Pedes, Cibuaya and Pakisjaya Districts.

“Actually, since 2023, we have been running a marathon, to approximately 23 villages. This year we will continue again, all will be visited evenly in electoral district 3,” said Didin, quoted on Saturday (7/9/2024).

Didin added that this activity was a personal initiative, the source of funds did not come from the government budget but from personal pockets, because the program from the Karawang DPRD itself had not yet been implemented.

“This is our own initiative to help the community from a deep awareness of the community’s urgent needs,” he said.

Didin, who is a member of the PKB faction with the most votes in electoral district III, hopes that this assistance will not only be temporary, but can have a long-term impact in improving the quality of life of children in Sungai Buntu Village.
