The 79-year-old first lady Jill Biden planted a tree in honor of the 50 years of work of Dale Haney, one of the old guards at the White House. The event was recorded and after the planting was over, the guard was seen hugging the president’s wife and shaking Joe Biden’s hand.
When the three began to walk together towards the entrance to the White House, the President of the United States was heard asking: “Where are we going?”, and turned to a completely different path than the one he was supposed to walk along with his wife and I. The staff members who rushed to direct the President, were heard off camera trying to explain to Biden How to get back to the White House.
“And what if I want to go this way?” the 79-year-old asked at one point, and one of his team answered: “You can go from here if you want, you can do whatever you want.” The president joked: “Yes, I notice how freely I can move,” and immediately rejoined his wife.
Just last week, Biden was recorded looking confused after finishing his speech in Pittsburgh. The US president, who will be 80 years old next month, walked around the stage, looking for the exit and was seen muttering to himself as he did so.
As you remember, the incident joins the series of embarrassing incidents of the American president. Last Thursday, the president was caught spitting when he told the wife of Senate candidate John Peterman that she was going to be a “great senator.” During a 13-minute speech in the state of Pennsylvania, the President of the United States congratulated several senators and Democratic candidates from the state, and also personally addressed John and noted: “Thank you very much for running, I really appreciate it.” Afterwards, Biden turned to the candidate’s wife, Gisele, and declared: “You’re going to be great, you’re going to be a great senator.”
