Gold costs are declining in Baghdad and Erbil

/ The costs of “international and Iraqi” gold decreased on Monday within the native markets in Baghdad and in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Area.

Company correspondent stated that gold costs within the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Avenue within the capital, Baghdad, recorded this morning, the promoting value of 1 weight of 21 carat of Gulf, Turkish and European gold at 444 thousand dinars, and the acquisition value at 440 thousand.

The company’s correspondent added that the promoting value of 1 mithqal of 21 carat Iraqi gold recorded 414 thousand dinars, whereas the acquisition value reached 410 thousand.

Relating to gold costs in goldsmiths’ outlets, the promoting value of a 21-carat Gulf gold mithqal ranges between 445,000 and 455,000 dinars, whereas the promoting value of an Iraqi gold mithqal ranged between 415,000 and 425,000 dinars.

As for gold costs in Erbil, the promoting value of 24 karat gold was 518 thousand dinars, 21 karat gold was 453 thousand dinars, and 18 karat gold was 388 thousand dinars.
