Company correspondent mentioned that gold costs within the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Avenue within the capital, Baghdad, recorded this morning, the promoting value of 1 21-carat mithqal of Gulf, Turkish and European gold at 452 thousand dinars, and the acquisition value at 448 thousand dinars.
Our correspondent indicated that the promoting value of 1 mithqal of 21 carat Iraqi gold was recorded at 422 thousand dinars, and the acquisition value reached 418 thousand.
Relating to particular person gold costs in goldsmiths’ outlets, the promoting value of a 21-karat Gulf gold mithqal ranges between 455,000 and 466,000 dinars, whereas the promoting value of an Iraqi gold mithqal ranged between 425,000 and 435,000 dinars.
As for gold costs in Erbil, the promoting value of 24 karat gold was 530 thousand dinars, 21 karat gold was 465 thousand dinars, and 18 karat gold was 400 thousand dinars.
One mithqal of gold is the same as 5 grams
