Gold costs stabilize in Baghdad and decline in Erbil

/ Iraqi and international gold costs stabilized on Thursday within the native markets within the capital, Baghdad, whereas they decreased in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Area.

Company correspondent mentioned that gold costs within the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Road within the capital, Baghdad, recorded this morning, the promoting worth of 1 mithqal of 21 karat Gulf, Turkish and European gold at 452 thousand dinars, and the acquisition worth at 448 thousand dinars.

Our correspondent indicated that the promoting worth of 1 mithqal of 21 carat Iraqi gold was recorded at 422 thousand dinars, and the acquisition worth reached 418 thousand dinars.

Concerning gold costs in goldsmiths’ retailers, the promoting worth of a 21-carat Gulf gold mithqal ranges between 455 thousand dinars and 466 thousand dinars, whereas the promoting worth of an Iraqi gold mithqal ranged between 425 thousand and 435 thousand dinars.

As for gold costs in Erbil, the promoting worth of 24 karat gold mithqal was 525 thousand dinars, 21 karat gold was 460 thousand dinars, and 18 karat gold was 395 thousand dinars.

One mithqal of gold is the same as 5 grams.
