Gold prices have been fluctuating over the past few months. In July, the central government raised the import duty on gold. Subsequently, the price of gold has also increased.
Accordingly, as on the morning of December 19, a sawan has increased by Rs.112 and is being sold at Rs.40,560. It is selling at Rs 5,070 per gram, up by Rs 14.

Similarly, silver prices have also increased. It is selling at Rs 73,100 per kg, up by Rs 100. Silver rose by Rs 10 paise to Rs 73.10 per gram.
