Thiruvananthapuram: About 50 pawans of gold kept in the RDO court have gone missing. The gold was kept in a court locker on the collectorate premises. Apart from gold, silver and around Rs 2 lakh are missing.

An investigation by the RDO on suspicion led to the discovery of a major fraud. Employees are in the shadow of suspicion as there are no signs of the locker being broken into and stolen. Peroorkada police registered a case based on the collector’s complaint.
