Gold medals and records at the lifesaving swimming world championships for Francesco Ippolito from Gorizia

Two golds with a world record, three silvers and four bronzes light up the second day of the lifesaving world championships on the Goald Coast. There are 16 medals won by Italians in the first two days of the Open and Youth Liefasaving and Surflifesaving world championships scheduled for the Gold Coast, an Australian region. The pool lifesaving events take place in the pools of the Gold Coast Aquatic Center, while the competitions on the beach and in the sea are held on the Broadbeach until September 8.

In the 50 Mannequin Transport one more metal for Francis Hippolytus who is third in 27″88 ahead of his teammate Simone Locchi (28.16). The New Zealander Fergus Eadie wins in 27″77. Bronze also in the Men’s 4×50 mixed relay with Fabio Pezzotti, Simone Locchi and Davide Cremonini finishing in 1’28″34.
