The music is composed by Rajesh Murukesan with lyrics by Shabarish Verma. The song, sung by Vijay Yesudas and Rajesh Murukesh, has got the golden glow like the name of the film. Prithvi and Deepti Sathi are the stars in the song, which is filled with the dreams of an ordinary young man. After Driving License, Prithvi and Deepti Sathi are reuniting on the silver screen with Gold. Prithvi and Deepti are dressed in golden dresses in the atmosphere of a house. Along with the scenes from the movie, the shooting atmosphere of the song also occupies space.

After the release of the song, the director has also shared a note on his Facebook page. “Like time and love, gold is imperfect. So most likely you will like gold. Gold is releasing tomorrow. After watching it, if you like it or not, please tell me your feedback openly. The story will start from the first scene itself. I will not spoil the rest. Sorry for the delay from my side friends. You have seen the rest.”
The film earned more than Rs 50 crore through pre-release business. The film has reached more than 1300 screens worldwide and is Prithviraj’s biggest release. The film will have more than 6,000 shows a day. Gold is also being released for the first time in some centers in different countries.
Dinesh Kumar has choreographed the film. And Meerash and Vasanthi, the associate choreographers, are performing in the singing arena as well. Vasanthi, who wowed as Agent Tina in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, will be seen as a choreographer in Gold. Along with the lyrics of the song, the names of the cast members of the film have also been added. Sound Mix by Vishnu Govind, Sound Design by Sri Shankar, Costume Design by Sameera Saneesh, Production by Dyson by Ashwini Kale and Makeup by Ronnie Xavier. Cinematography is handled by Anand and Vishwajit.
Gold is the film directed by Alphonse Putran after the 2015 release Prema. The first teaser of the film starring Prithviraj and Nayanthara was released in March. Later, the posters also arrived, and the audience was eagerly waiting. Although there was an announcement that the film will be released as a festival release during Onam 2022, it is being released now.

The stars are also lining up. Apart from writing and directing the film, Alphonse handles editing, stunts, visual effects, animation and color grading.
