In Chennai, the price of jewelery gold has dropped by Rs 2,000 in 20 days.
As of this morning, 22-carat jewelery gold is down 18 rupees to 4,826 rupees a gram and a razor is down 144 rupees to 38,608 rupees. The price of a gram of silver has dropped by 40 rupees to 73 rupees.
Due to the Ukraine-Russia war, the price of a razor for gold was Rs 40,840 on March 7. Following that, its price began to fall as Russia and the United States imposed sanctions on Russia. In 20 days, the price of gold has dropped by 2,232 rupees per razor.
