The highest price for the month was Rs 5,070 per gram and Rs 40,560 per sovereign on the morning of March 9. The lowest price this month was Rs 4,670 per gram and Rs 37,360 per sovereign recorded on March 1.
International gold prices fell on March 30. On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold rose 0.36 per cent to Rs 50,995 per 10 grams and silver rose 0.32 per cent to Rs 67,163 per kg at 9.28 am.
