In Chennai, the price of 22 carat gold jewelery fell by Rs 160 to Rs 46,800 per ounce today. 22 carat gold is selling by Rs 20 to Rs 5,850 per gram.
18 carat gold prices fell by Rs 16 per gram to Rs 4,792 per gram and sawan by Rs 128 to Rs 38,336 per sawan.
24 carat gold fell by Rs.22 per gram to Rs. 6,382 on sale. 24 carat gold sawan is selling for Rs.51,056. Similarly, the price of silver also fell by 30 paise per gram to Rs 76.70 per gram. A kg of silver is being sold at Rs.76,700.
