Gold prices fall by Rs 216 per ounce – Dinamani

Jewelery gold in Chennai traded lower by Rs 216 to Rs 38,336 per ounce on Wednesday.

Due to the Russo-Ukraine war, gold prices began to rise steadily from the first week of February. In particular, it crossed Rs 38,000 on February 22, Rs 39,000 on February 24 and Rs 40,000 on March 7.

After this, the price goes down. As a result, prices in Chennai fell by Rs 216 to Rs 38,336 per ounce on Wednesday. A gram of gold traded lower by Rs 27 to Rs 4,792. Silver is down by Rs 1.10 per gram to Rs 67.90 and bullion is down by Rs 1,100 to Rs 67,900 per kg.
