22 carat jewelery gold is selling by Rs 5 per gram in Chennai. In case of 24 carat 99.99 pure gold, it is fixed at Rs.5292 per gram and 8 grams is sold at Rs.42336.
Jewelery gold is priced at Rs 39120 per sawan. Gold has been bullish since the beginning of this month. In the last 10 days, it has increased up to one thousand rupees.
Silver price
Sawaran rose by Rs 40 per gram compared to yesterday’s price by Rs 5. As regards silver, on August 9, the price was fixed at Rs 64,500 per kilo bar, which increased by Rs 1.50 per gram.
Presently the price of silver has decreased steadily to Rs.64 per gram and Rs.64 thousand per kg. There is no change in petrol and diesel prices. Petrol remains at Rs 102.63 per liter and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre.
