In Chennai, a gram of silver is fixed at Rs.60.90 and a kg bar of silver is fixed at Rs.90,900. Silver rose by 0.20 paise per gram compared to yesterday’s price.
Silver sold at Rs 60.70 per gram yesterday. As far as gold is concerned, the gram has increased by Rs.5. Accordingly, 22 carat gold has been fixed at Rs.4805 per gram and Savaran at Rs.38440 per gram.
So there is an increase of Rs.40 per shaver. 24 carat 99.99 pure gold is Rs.5207 per gram and Sawaran is Rs.41656 per gram. Today, the price of gold is slightly higher due to the rise in the international markets.
In Delhi, 10 grams of ornamental gold increased by Rs 157 to Rs 51,707. Silver price also increased by Rs 364 to Rs 55,662 per kg. In the international market, gold is seen at USD 1739 per ounce and silver at USD 19.03 per ounce.
