Gold futures rose during the European session on Monday.

According to the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, December gold futures were trading at $2,533.85 per ounce at the time of writing, up 0.25%.
Gold futures had previously traded in a higher session with the price reaching $2,539.35 per ounce. Gold prices are expected to find support at $2,522.30 and resistance at $2,564.30.
Meanwhile, the dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at $101.65.
On the other hand, the price of silver for December delivery fell by 0.57% to trade at $28.98 per ounce on Comex, while the price of copper for December delivery fell by 0.89% to trade at $4.17 per pound.
