Gold stocks top weekly trade on DSE

Sonali Ansh Industries Limited, a company listed in the jute sector, has risen to the top of the transactions between companies and mutual funds in the country’s main capital market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in the outgoing week (15 to 19 September).

This information was revealed on the basis of DSE’s weekly market review on Saturday (September 21).

During the week, the company’s shares were traded on an average of 26 crore 380 thousand rupees per day. Which was 4.29 percent of DSE’s total transactions. As a result, the company is at the top of the transaction.

Linde BD, which was ranked second in the transaction list, traded shares worth Tk 24.55 crore, which was 4 percent of the total transactions on DSE.

Grameenphone, ranked third, traded shares worth Tk 181.733 million, which was 2.96 percent of the DSE’s total transactions.

Among the other companies in the transaction list – Sea Pearl Hotel Tk 15 crore 87 lakh 50 thousand, Orion Infusion Tk 14 crore 85 lakh 80 thousand, BRAC Bank Tk 14 crore 49 lakh 10 thousand, Islami Bank Tk 14 crore 17 lakh 60 thousand, British American 12 crore 70 lakh 30 thousand taka of Tobacco, 12 crore 59 lakh 10 thousand taka of Ibn Sina Pharma and 10 crore 56 lakh 20 thousand taka of Sonali Paper and Board Mills Limited were traded.
