It’s now official, Real Madrid number 5, Jude Bellingham, succeeds his Barcelona rival Gavi and wins the Golden Boy 2023, the prize rewarding the best young player under the age of 21 playing in Europe. Almost unanimously (97% of the votes) and without any real surprise, it was the England international who was elected by European sports journalists.
Author of a great final season with Borussia Dortmund, but above all a thunderous start with Real Madrid with no less than 13 goals and 3 assists in 14 matches played, the native of Stourbridge had already won the Kopa trophy, the Last October 30, during the France Football Ballon d’Or ceremony.
