In this case, the song won the Golden Globe Award for ‘Best Original Song’ which is considered the biggest award after the Oscar Award. The award was received by the film’s music director MM Keeravani.

Talking about this on the stage of the festival, Keeravani said, “Thank you for giving me this award. Usually when I get awards, people usually say that this award is not for me. I am going to say the same. This award belongs to my brother and director Rajamouli. Thank you for his continuous faith and support in my work.” stated.

It is noteworthy that while ‘RRR’ missed out on the best film award, the award went to ‘Argentina 1985’.
