The most intriguing series of the first round of the NBA playoffs has come to an end and with it the picture of the second round has been completed. Memphis ousted Minnesota tonight (Friday through Saturday) with a 106: 114 away win that set up a 2-4 draw and arranged for them to face Golden State, in which they would hold the home advantage. Just a year ago, the Grizzlies were the ones who ousted the Warriors in the play-offs, and starting at 10:30 PM on Sunday, Israel time for Steph Kerry and his friends will be an opportunity for revenge.
It was another fun game to watch that perfectly told the story of this series between two of the young and refreshing teams in the league. The Timberwolves opened the decisive quarter with a 74-84 lead, but for the third time in the series Memphis knew how to get out of the pit and erase a double-digit deficit on the way to victory. How rare is this? Until the 2022 playoffs, no team in history has returned from a double-digit deficit in the final quarter more than once in a series.
