Golf: Signature of a memorandum of understanding between the FRMG and the British club Royal & Ancient
Casablanca - The Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (FRMG) signed a memorandum of understanding for the advancement of golf with the british club Royal & Ancient (R&A), on the sidelines of the Ryder Cup, which took place in Rome, from September 29 to October 1.
The protocol was signed by Mustapha Zine, 1st vice-president of the FRMG, in the presence of the president of the Young Sportsmen’s Commission, mr. Riad Laissaoui, the president of the International Relations Commission, Mr.David Toledano, and the director of Development within the R&A, Mr. Phil Anderton, indicates the FRMG in a press release.
This agreement between the FRMG and the R&A details a series of initiatives and programs intended to enrich morocco’s golf ecosystem.
It aims to promote golf as a tool for physical and mental well-being, the future of golf thru the development of programs for young people, in particular by introducing golf into schools and organizing adapted competitions, the development of programs dedicated to the promotion of women’s golf, emphasizing practice, studies and careers in the field, as well as the digitalization of golf with the introduction of Golf.Golf’s “Learn to Play” initiative, Morocco, specifies the same source.
And to add that this agreement marks a renewed collaboration between the FRMG and the R&A, two institutions dedicated to the promotion of golf.
