The government will submit to the State Duma amendments to the second reading of the bill on QR codes, which provide for the possibility of visiting public places after February 1 for a PCR test. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.

Prior to this, it was planned that from February 1, it will be possible to visit public places only with a QR code, which confirms the vaccination against coronavirus, the disease or medical withdrawal.

According to Golikova, the authorities postponed consideration of the bill in the second reading. She explained this by saying that the bill was originally prepared as a reaction to the spread of the delta strain, but now there are “new challenges.”
