jpnn.comSEMARANG – Golkar Chairman of Semarang City Erry Sadewo admitted that Kendal Regent Dico Ganinduto has officially withdrawn from the candidacy as mayor of Semarang. However, he does not yet know the reason.

“Yes, it is true that the news is like that, but we don’t know the reason yet,” said Erry Sadewo to JPNN.com via telephone, Monday (26/8).

He said that information circulating within the party with the banyan tree symbol stated that Dico’s resignation was due to a request from the vice president-elect, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

In the news, Chacha Frederica’s husband was pulled by the former mayor of Surakarta to work in Jakarta.

“The issue is like that, it’s still unclear and not official. I also asked for guidance from the center on what to do next,” he said.

Erry said that the Golkar DPP under the leadership of Bahlil Lahadalia will make a decision in the near future.

“What will happen later, I haven’t received the official decision from the center either,” he said.

As a fellow Golkar cadre, Erry actually fully supports Dico Ganinuto’s candidacy to become number one in the city of Semarang.

Dico Ganinduto withdraws from the Semarang City Pilkada, Golkar confirms the news.
