jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Afni Zulkifli is confirmed to be able to advance as a candidate for regent of Siak, Riau, in the upcoming 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections.
Certainty was obtained after the woman with a doctorate received a ticket from the Golkar Party to run in the 2024 Siak Pilkada.
The Golkar Party DPP decided to nominate Afni and Syamsurizal as candidates for regent and deputy regent of Siak.
The decision of the Golkar Party DPP is stated in the Decree or SK Number: Skep-787/DPP/GOLKAR/VII/2024.
“To ratify and determine Ms. Afni Z as a candidate for Regent of Siak Regency and Mr. Syamsurizal as a Candidate for Deputy Regent of Siak Regency from the Golkar Party in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections,” reads the Golkar DPP Decree signed by Golkar Party General Chairperson Airlangga Hartarto and Secretary General Lodewijk F. Paulus.
The decree dated July 27, 2024 also instructed the Chairman of the Siak Golkar Party DPD to follow up on the decision and register the Afni-Syamsurizal pair with the local KPU according to the 2024 Pilkada schedule.
“The decision is final and binding on all levels of management/functionaries/cadres and members of the Golkar Party,” reads an excerpt from the Golkar Party DPP Decree.
With the issuance of the Golkar Party DPP Decree, the Afni-Syamsurizal pair has fulfilled the requirements to advance in the 2024 Siak Pilkada.
Afni Zulkifli and Syamsurizal are confirmed to be able to advance in the 2024 Siak Pilkada after obtaining the Golkar Party Decree.
