jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The Golkar Party is ready to pair Kaesang Pangarep as a gubernatorial candidate with Jusuf Hamka as a deputy gubernatorial candidate to run in the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.
According to the Chairman of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Golkar Party, Dave Laksono, Jusuf Hamka is the most appropriate figure to accompany Kaesang.
The reason is, Jusuf Hamka, who is a cadre of the party with the banyan tree symbol, has sufficient experience.
This, he said, was one of the reasons Golkar supported Jusuf Hamka as a candidate for deputy governor accompanying the General Chair of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
“I think with the capital of his various achievements that can break through various problems, with that capital he can definitely overcome Jakarta’s problems,” said Dave in a statement in Jakarta, Monday (15/7).
According to Dave, Jusuf Hamka’s dedication in resolving various community problems has become the main capital for leading the complex Jakarta.
“He has succeeded in breaking through a number of problems, thus accelerating the construction of toll roads, for example, and he also provides support for education, he is a good person,” he said.
He then revealed a number of social problems that Jusuf Hamka had resolved, including providing free education and creating a free meal program for the underprivileged.
