Upon arriving at the hotel where she will hold a meeting with the next president and a group of leaders, the governor-elect of Morelos, Margarita Gonzalez Saravia, stated that he will propose strengthening road mobility through an internal circuit. Additionally, he plans to seek the construction of a distributor to alleviate the traffic generated by the highway, Mexico-Cuernavaca.
Regarding his upcoming meeting with the virtual president-elect, he emphasized the importance of collaborating with the federal government, as states often lack the necessary resources for infrastructure development.
On the issue of security, the governor-elect announced his intention to propose the transformation of the public security commission into a secretariat, granting it greater powers and operational capabilities. This change, he believes, will address various security concerns.
Furthermore, he proposed a comprehensive overhaul of the Morelos state prosecutor’s office, citing its stagnation since its establishment under previous governors Graco Ramirez and Cuauhtémoc Blanco.
To support the state’s 36 municipalities, Gonzalez Saravia announced the implementation of a coordinated command, increased prevention measures, and strengthened state police.
