The National Oil Corporation delivered good news to Libyan citizens regarding crude oil production, confirming that production exceeded the target rate for this year 2024.

The corporation said in a statement: “We announce to the Libyan citizens that our daily production of crude oil has exceeded the target rate for this year 2024, which amounted to 1,405,609 barrels, and 52,633 barrels of condensate, which is an achievement that could not have been achieved in light of the delay in monetizing the budget allocated for the year 2024.” ; If it were not for the efforts of those working on the production platforms in the various fields, each in his field of specialization and tasks, as well as the efforts of the nation’s protectors, members of the security and military services, who continue day and night to create a safe, stable environment that reflects positively on professional performance within the oil fields and ports.”

The Corporation stressed that it will “move forward to achieve double numbers for this number during the coming year and the following, followed by hope for more positive results after the launch of the public bidding round for exploration and sharing of oil and gas production, which will open great doors for investments for major international companies in the country and thus achieve an increase in revenues.” With the participation of the local private sector, which will provide job opportunities for young people and move the wheel of economic growth and sustainable development.”
