Krishnagiri: The Tamil Nadu government has expedited the construction of a domestic airport in Hosur. Tender application has been submitted for this.

Krishnagiri district is the most backward district in Tamil Nadu. But factories are starting up fast in Hosur in Krishnagiri district. It is already advanced to what is now known as the Factory Hub.

Due to its proximity to Bangalore, many IT companies and factories are moving towards Hosur from Bangalore.
