Noida: The way for registration of 2558 flat buyers in Noida, Uttar Pradesh has been cleared. This is a big relief news for thousands of families who have bought houses in Noida and Greater Noida West. On the instructions of the government to solve the problems of buyers in Noida, 22 out of 56 builders had deposited 25 percent of the total dues i.e. Rs 275.72 crore. Recently, in a high-level meeting, Yogi Adityanath had instructed that strict action should be taken against those developers and builders who have not paid the stated amount.
Yogi had instructed that the vacant land and unsold flats of such people be confiscated. Seeing Yogi’s strict attitude, 93 developers out of 161 projects showed speed in paying the outstanding amount. Taking advantage of the government’s relief package, they paid 25 percent of the outstanding amount. Under this, a total of Rs 905 crore has been deposited with the Noida Authority. After this, the process of registration of flats can be expedited.
Let us tell you that thousands of homeowners who bought flats in 161 projects in Noida and Greater Noida West have not received the registry yet. Builders and developers built the flats and sold them. Not only this, they also gave possession of them. Thousands of families also live in these flats. However, despite all this, they have not been able to get the ownership of their property. To solve this problem, the Yogi government came up with a relief package. In the meeting held on August 24, Yogi directed the authority to take strict action against the defaulters to recover the outstanding amount. If the outstanding amount is not paid on time, then action should be taken against such people and their vacant land and unsold flats should be confiscated.
