The American company Google announced a list of new features it added to the Google Chrome browser, which provides more useful suggestions and facilitates the search process even with “weak and bad” Internet connections.
Google indicated that some of these tools are intended for smartphones, and some are intended for the “desktop” version.
The first feature is that Chrome offers search suggestions inspired by your recent queries, which can automatically populate related search suggestions.
Suggestions will appear to the right of the default search page, under the ‘People are also searching for’ tab.
The second feature on the Chrome browser on iPhone and Android phones provides more images to accompany suggested searches.
In the past, Chrome only showed images for search suggestions in the address bar that exactly matched a specific query, but the new approach will make image suggestions easier and more browsable.
The third feature works on iPhone and Android phones to improve search even when users have a bad network connection.
Google did not reveal how this works, simply explaining that it is due to “improving capabilities on the device.” The company says: The search will continue to work with a “bad” connection; Therefore some level of communication will likely still be necessary.
