Google Equips Gmail with Gemini AI Capabilities

The Gmail Q&A feature lets users interact directly with Google’s artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, Gemini, to discuss their emails.

Google confirmed that after the Android version of Gmail, the new feature will be available for iOS device users.

With “Gmail Q&A,” users can access Google Gemini in the Gmail app as a personal assistant that can read their entire email inbox.

Google says users can ask Gemini to summarize emails.

Users can also use the feature to search for specific details.

Traditionally, if users wanted to search for information in Gmail, they could use the search bar at the top of Google.

That feature won’t be going away, but a Gemini button will be added next to the search bar.
