jpnn.comJAKARTA – Google integrates features with Google Lens on the Chrome browser for desktop, so that Circle to Search’s reach is wider.

The Circle to Search feature is now available in the beta versions of ChromeOS 127 and Chrome 128 for Windows and macOS.

Search attempts using the feature begin by clicking “Search with Google Lens” in the Chrome menu, and then circling the content element you wish to search for on the screen.

By sliding the box around the content, search results will instantly appear in the side panel, so users can continue browsing while checking the search results.

Circle to Search originally launched for the Galaxy S24 and Pixel 8 phones, but its use has since expanded to other devices.

This feature allows users to search for information based on visual content easily.

On the desktop, the feature is called Drag to Search. ChromeOS users can access the feature by clicking the Google Lens icon in the address bar.

For Windows and macOS users, you can use it by selecting “Search with Google Lens” in the Chrome menu flow.
