jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung introduced a new assistant coach after releasing Goran Paulic.

Paulic parted ways with Maung Bandung after working together for one season.

Paulic’s successor is Igor Tolic who came on the recommendation of head coach Bojan Hodak.

Tolic is a former MPPJ Selangor player (2008) and retired with HASK Zagreb in 2013.

Then, this figure who was born in Gradacac, Croatia, started his career as a coach.

Some of the teams he has managed are Hajduk Split U-19 (2019), NK Osijek II (2010-2021), NK Kustosija (2021), and most recently the Egyptian club Wadi Degla (2022-2024).

Interim Director of Sports PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB) Adhitia Putra Herawan said Tolic will soon join the Persib coaching staff who are preparing for the 2024/2025 League 1.

“This new assistant coach is of course a recommendation from the head coach. Welcome and join us to fight together to achieve the best achievements in League 1 2024/2025,” said Adhit, Wednesday (3/7/2024).
