Goswami retires with England series – Dinakaran

Mumbai: Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami has announced his retirement from international cricket after the ODI series against England.
Jhulan (39), the leading fast bowler of the Indian women’s cricket team, was not included in the recent series against Sri Lanka. In this case, the Indian team that will face England in the ODI series (3 matches) has got a place again.

The last game of the series was on Sept. It will be held on 24th at Lord’s Arena. Jhulan has announced that he will retire from his cricket career on that day. Having made his debut in 2002, he has so far taken 44 wickets in 12 Tests, 252 wickets in 201 ODIs and 56 wickets in 68 T20Is. He also holds the honor of being the highest wicket taker in ODIs.
