‘Maluti’ directed by Bharathan is a movie remembered by the Malayali audience among the survival thrillers. Baby Shyamili played the title character in the 1990 film. But there was a debate in film groups as to who played Baby Shalini’s younger days in the film.
But now social media has found that baby Maluti in Maluti. This was revealed by the actor who played the role of Kunju Maluti. Singer Abhaya Hiranmayi played the role of that child Maluti.
“I am showing my face in the film in the sixth month. Bharatan uncle brings me to Maluti. Podi Kunja is in that song. Uncle bought me a baby dress as a gift for acting in it.”
