The Säteriet’s Walking Flea Market is taking place in Mölnlycke on April 30th, and the Backa Gård’s Big Flea Market on May 13th. The Plantloppis is taking place in Mölnlycke on May 14th, and the Megaloppis in Majorna on May 28th. The Walking Flea Market in Stommen Landvetter is taking place on June 4th. The tailgate race is a popular way to sell old items, and anyone who wants to participate must book a spot and pay between SEK 225 and 350 per day. While most sellers offer swish, it’s recommended to bring cash. The Nordhemsloppis, organized by Nordhemsskolan, who located in the middle of Linnéstaden, is a raffle to which the proceeds go to the school’s music classes for school trips, the purchase of instruments, stage equipment, and concert arrangements. The flea market is not accepting old technology, stuffed animals, or upholstered furniture.

But it is not only at second-hand shops that sales take place. During the spring, several flea markets are organized in the Gothenburg area. Here are some of them.

Luggage hatch race in Slottsskogen 1 April

On Saturday, April 1st from 11 am to 3 pm, the season for the tailgate race begins at Dalen’s gravel field by Slottsskogen. Between April and October it will be organized on several occasions. Anyone who wants to sell their used gadgets at the flea market must book a place and pay between SEK 225 and 350 per day. Most sellers offer swish, but the organizer advises to bring cash.

Selling things from the tailgate is a popular way to get rid of things you no longer need.

House of possibilitas 2 april

On April 2nd from 11 am to 4 pm, the production platform Possibilitas will hold a flea market in what used to be Backa Folkets Hus at Hisingen in Gothenburg. Anyone who wants to sell at the flea market must book a place in advance. The price is between SEK 100 and 200.

Tittut children’s market April 22

During the spring, several flea markets are arranged where parents can find bargains for their children. One of them is the flea market at Nordlyckeskolan in Torslanda. On April 22nd from 9am to 4pm and on April 23rd from 9am to 2pm, it’s time. In addition to clothing and toys for children, there will be clothing for adults and teenagers as well as sportswear, sporting goods and interior design. Loppisen collaborates with the non-profit aid organization Empathy for Humanity Ukraine, which is located in Torslanda.

Nordhemsloppisen 23 April

After a three-year hiatus, the Nordhemsloppis kicks off on April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The raffle is organized by Nordhemsskolan, which is located in the middle of Linnéstaden. Säteriet’s walking flea market 30 April

On Sunday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Säteriet’s walking flea market is organized in Mölnlycke. Then used gadgets are sold all over the area and anyone who wants to can set up their own table.

Backa Gård’s big flea market 13 May

On May 13th between 10am and 2pm, several households at Backa Gård will display old items, including children’s toys, furnishings and clothes. Payment is made via swish or with even money.

Plantloppis 14 May

Do you want to find plants, cuttings, seeds or bulbs? Then you should go to the car park between Råda kyrka and Råda Rum in Mölnlycke on May 14 from 12-3pm. The luggage hatch race is organized by Gröna Rum, a meeting place that Råda parish is building up. Anyone who wants to exhibit at the flea market can book a place for SEK 100.

Megaloppis in Majorna 28 May

On the 28th of May, the classic Megaloppis in Majorna is back. Then whoever wants to set up a table with used gadgets in the district, from Stigbergstorget to Mariaplan and Kungsladugård. Last year, Major neighbor Markus Swerlander organized the flea market on his own when the organizer canceled. This year he is a real flea market general and believes that this year’s edition can be bigger than ever.

– It is already one of Sweden’s largest flea markets, if not the largest. But there are still empty streets and a little space here and there, Markus Swerlander told GP earlier this year.

Walking race Stommen Landvetter 4 June

Sunday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., it’s time for another walking flea market, this time in northern and southern Stommen near the Landvetter center. The flea market takes place at several addresses and there will also be a food truck on site.
