Gourma/Jpatriotic commitment day: Fada N’Gourma National Identification Office collects blood

Fada N’Gourma, (AIB)-The branch of the Office of National Identity (ONI) of Fada N’Gourma, on Tuesday October 15, 2024 in the city of Yendabili, organized a blood donation operation, at the event of the 2nd stage the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation.

To celebrate unity and solidarity within the nation during the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation, the agents of the branch of the Office of National Identity (ONI) of Fada N’ Gourma organized a blood collection operation on Tuesday 15 October September , 2024 in Fada N’Gourma.

Citizens, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and volunteers participated in the operation, which was open to the public.

Because of the blood collection it was possible to strengthen the bonds of trust between the agents of the ONI branch of Fada N’Gourma and the citizens.

According to the head of the ONI branch in Fada N’Gourma, the police assistant Sosthène Fulbert Zombré, the blood campaign is organized as part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment to respond to the call of the head of State.

“This blood drive was a great success and showed that civic engagement and solidarity can overcome obstacles and create a stronger and more united community,” said Adjudant Zombré.

Also, he said, this precious liquid will help patients and brave fighters who have been wounded at the front whose condition demands it.

The head of the blood collection team, general practitioner Harouna Coulbaly, emphasized that her session expects at least 30 bags of blood that could provide some relief to patients during this critical period.

The regional director in charge of Human Rights in the East, Règma Kaboré, welcomed the initiative of the ONI branch in Fada N’Gourma.

To him, donating blood represents patriotic commitment and civic engagement.
