Political sources are angry about a campaign by the Ukrainian embassy in Israel that accuses the country of not treating Ukrainian wounded in the war against Russia.
The campaign published a picture of a disabled Ukrainian soldier named Dalal, who needs a prosthesis transplant, with the caption “The Israeli government is not willing to treat him just because he is Ukrainian.”
The tweet itself read: “Many Ukrainians have lost body parts in Russian attacks. Israel is an international power in the field of prostheses. We expect the Israeli government to do the right thing and help dilute (pictured) and many other Ukrainians – to go back. There is no justification for delaying aid. It is humanitarian. “
Political sources responded that this was a step that deviated from diplomatic rules and that “this style is not acceptable. There is a way to forward requests and it is not customary for a foreign ambassador to whitewash the country where he is no longer a guest.”
As you may recall, the Ukrainian Minister of Health has raised a request for the treatment of Ukrainian soldiers before Health Minister Horowitz in recent months. Horowitz said the issue would be examined.
