Internet connectivity is available in 95.5 percent of villages
According to the data, there are 117 crore mobile users in India, while there are 93 crore internet users. If the data of the year 2022 is to be believed, then there are a total of 141.72 crore users in India. This means that most of the population of the country has a mobile. According to the report of March 2024, there are a total of 954.4 million internet subscribers in India.

There are 298 million subscribers in 6,44,131 villages of the country. Out of this, 3G and 4G connectivity is available in 6,12,952 villages. If the data is to be believed, internet connectivity is available in 95.5 percent of the villages. By March 2014, the total number of internet subscribers in the country had reached 251.5 million.
