Government locates the sixth body from the El Pinabete mine

The Government reported that located the sixth of the 10 bodies of the miners who were trapped in the El Pinabete mine Located in Sabinas, Coahuila.

This was announced by the National Coordination of Civil Protection (CNPC) through a statement in which it highlighted that, 87 days after the start of the second phase of recovery “in the eastern branch of the gallery GWE11new human remains were found.”

And it was detailed that:

“Excavation operations continue in the areas identified by specialists as having the highest probability of finding the remains. The objective remains to locate and identify the four remaining miners trapped in the ‘El Pinabete’ mine.”

In turn, the head of the Coordination, Laura Velazquez Alzua reported that after the latest findings the meeting of the Unified Commandmade up of the National Civil Protection Coordination (CNPC), the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Coahuila de Zaragozato implement the strategy in exploration and recovery.

Velázquez Alzúa explained that structural reinforcement work will be carried out on the frames of the aforementioned gallery, in order to continue the excavation and extraction work of the material of interest, after which:
