The Government of Dina Boluarte hired an American public relations firm to improve its image in the international arena. A document released by The Associated Press revealed that, through the Peruvian embassy in that country, US$40,000 per month is paid to the company Patriot Strategies.
In addition, the contract agrees to the payment of an additional US$ 15,000 per month for other expenses, which will be coordinated with the Embassy of Peru.
The North American firm will be in charge of identifying and developing relationships with characters and organizations that are influential in the elaboration of policies linked to the bilateral agenda between Peru and the United States (USA), in addition to developing “educational” products aimed at impacting actors influential in politics, economy and social cooperation between both States.

Another of the functions of Patriot Strategies will be to organize activities that guarantee a permanent dialogue with the US private sector, so that they are informed of the economic policy that the country has to develop communication campaigns that strengthen the image of the country as a valuable destination. commercial and tourist
The contract details that the president and chief executive of said firm, George Seymore; as well as the vice president, Marc Watchtenheim, will personally be in charge of this service contracted by the Peruvian embassy.
The contract was signed on April 10 and will be valid until June 9, with the possibility of extending it based on the contractor’s evaluation.
