Civil Registry procedures can now be carried out for the benefit of Mexicans abroad
There is a digitalization agenda for procedures from this December 2024 to June 2025.
The head of the ATDT said that three important procedures of the ATDT are already enabled. Civil Registration that were previously only allowed in person:
- Capture request (to print copies of birth certificate from home)
- Correction of extracts (correction in data capture due to differences in the book and the minutes)
- Clarification of records of the civil status of people (correction for errors from the book)

It should be remembered that the agenda set until June 2025 not only includes procedures from the Civil Registry but also from the Tax Administration Service (SAT) or the application for a Mexican passport.
