Vijay Anand, a computer science teacher working at Vellalore Government High School in Coimbatore, was involved in a protest yesterday by students for sending pornographic text messages through WhatsApp.
Students were involved in the struggle, claiming that the school headmaster and parents had not taken any action to complain to the teachers’ union about the teacher’s abuses.
Meanwhile, District Education Officer Geetha arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation on the students. Vijay Anand was then sacked and ordered. In this situation 2 students lodged a complaint at the All Women Police Station regarding the violation of teacher Vijay Anand.
