Ensenada, BC- To verify the details of the works, this morning the mayor of Ensenada, Armando Ayala Robles, and the governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, went to the area of Sauzal Node works to oversee the construction project.

During the tour, the municipal president of Ensenada thanked the governor for promoting this type of works that modernize the city as part of the Strategic Development Plan.

Ayala Robles highlighted that the Sauzal Node will improve mobility over the next 15 years, in addition to making the Bypass better and more useful, a road that will allow all heavy cargo traffic from the center of the city, which has greatly affected the paving and damaged the concrete slabs.

We have a bypass that was finished in the first stage, but this road distributor was needed in El Sauzal to remove all that load. This, apart from improving the urban image, will optimize mobility, so we thank you, since it was a commitment that we talked about and now it is being a reality”, expressed the first mayor.

In this sense, the president considered that the adaptation of the Sauzal Node is one of the most awaited works by the Ensenadenses, since it will change the entrance to the guadalupe valley and the urban area of ​​Ensenada.

He pointed out that it is a road project that the mayor has managed before the SIDURT to benefit his community, for which he assured that he will continue to work jointly State-Municipality for this type of works.

In this case, he informed that the node will have an overpass and a more dignified entrance for those who visit Ensenada and the Wine Route, for which they will be investing 237.7 million pesos for an area of ​​20 thousand 490.05 square meters and to work in three stages.

“Currently, an estimated 500 million are executed within the municipality, which is added to the works already done, those projected and others that are on the way,” he told the Ensenada president.

For his part, Arturo Espinoza Jaramillo, Secretary of Infrastructure, Urban Development and Territorial Reordering (SIDURT), stated that this mobility project will benefit more than 45 thousand people and will take an estimated 15 months.

He said that the work will benefit not only traffic, but also avoid car accidents, shorten entry and exit times to the port of ensenada, as well as the reduction of polluting emissions.

Currently, he explained, work is being done on the foundation of half the bridge and on the other part of the highway, since it was previously widened ninth street and it was built with hydraulic concrete to give continuous access to Fondeport so as not to have excess traffic on that same gauze.

He commented that in the next few days they will begin with the installation of 10 girders, which will be cast in two weeks and so that end of september be ready, while the supports culminate.

At a general level, the state official assured that the node will allow vehicular circulation without intersections, with more comfortable exits towards Valle de Guadalupe, with wider gauze and that trucks can get on and take the highway or return without problem to take the exit towards Tijuana.
