The Governor of Bangladesh Bank and the Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) will be appointed soon, said Finance and Planning Advisor to the Interim Government Salehuddin Ahmed.
He said this in response to a question from journalists at the Ministry of Finance Secretariat on Sunday (August 11).
When asked whether the governor has taken any decision on the appointment, adviser Salehuddin Ahmed said, “We will not say openly on the appointment of the governor.” I will decide immediately.
